2024 Leatt Crankworx Whistler Giveaway Contest
From July 19 to 28, 2024
1. GENERAL
This Contest will be conducted online by Leatt Canada at leatt-canada.ca for Crankworx Whistler visitors to enter. A customer is referred to as “You” and “Your”. The Contest runs from July 19 to 28, 2024 at 11:59:59 PST (the “Contest Period”) Draw Date: A random draw will be held on August 7, 2024, to select three (3) Contest winners. Ways to enter: From July 19 to 28, 2024, visitors of the Whistler Leatt/Surefoot store and the Leatt Canada Booth at the 2024 Crankworx Whistler Festival will be able to enter the contest by scanning the physical QR code found on site. Each registration is equivalent to 1 entry in the draw. Odds of winning decrease as the number of on-site Entries increases. A random draw will be held on August 7, 2024 at 3 p.m. (EDT) to select the three (3) Contest winners.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all residents of Canada and who have reached the age of majority on or before the Draw Date, except employees, representatives, and agents of Leatt Canada and all persons employed as contractors or subcontractors by Leatt Canada, and their immediate family members living in the same household. You agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations set forth herein, subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Winners must authorize Leatt Canada to advertise and publish their names, addresses, and photographs, without compensation or other consideration, in any forthcoming publicity. Acceptance of this permission is a condition of eligibility.
3. PRIZE WINNERS
Three winners will be drawn for the 2024 Leatt Crankworx Whistler Giveaway Contest. The prizes are:
· A $100 Leatt Gift Card
· A bike jersey signed by Steve Wallace
· A cap signed by Team Leatt
The goal of our contest is to have real participants win. Any attempt at fraud (bot and otherwise) or any attempt at mass participation or contrary to our rules will be punished by removal of entries from the draw in question, and we reserve the right to block the offending entrant's IP address. Contest is open to residents of Canada 18 years of age and older only; no purchase necessary.
Entries must be made through the registration process via the QR codes available at the Leatt/Surefoot store and the Leatt booth at Crankworx Whistler from July 19 to 28, 2024.
A random draw will be held on August 7, 2024, at 3 p.m. (EDT) from all contest entries. The value of each prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. DRAW PROCEDURES
A representative will conduct the random draw from the combined Entries to obtain three (3) winners (the “Eligible Winners”). Three (3) additional entries drawn are back-up entries, in the event the initial Eligible Winners do not respond after being contacted, do not comply with the Contest Rules, or are unable to answer the skill-testing question. These names will be recorded in the order they were drawn (“Alternate Winner(s)”). A representative will make all reasonable efforts to contact Eligible Winners by telephone or email after the draw date. If any Eligible Winner cannot be reached by phone or has not contacted Leatt Canada within three (3) days of Leatt Canada leaving messages to that effect (the “Contact Date”), that person will be disqualified, and Leatt Canada will contact the next Alternate Winner.
5. PRIZE WINNER DECLARATION
Each Eligible Winner whose name was selected on the Draw Date must: i) Be over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence; ii) Within three (3) business days of the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical or recording device. The skill-testing question will be asked at a predetermined time and place; iii) Sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules and acceptance of the prize; and iv) If the Eligible Winner cannot correctly answer the Skill-Testing Question, that Eligible Winner will be disqualified, and the Skill-Testing Question will be asked to the next Alternate Winner. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to Leatt Canada’s use of his/her name, city, province or territory of residence, and/or photograph for publicity purposes without compensation.

Release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Leatt Canada and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Leatt Canada is not responsible for any printing or typographical errors in the materials related to the Contest and/or for any transactions entered late, incorrectly, or lost due to computer or electronic malfunctions or mail that cannot be delivered for any reason. Leatt Canada reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules deemed by Leatt Canada, in its sole discretion, necessary for business efficacy.
10. PRIVACY POLICY
Leatt Canada will use the contact information provided in contest entries for the administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain Your needs and make marketing offers to You. We may contact You for the above purposes by telephone, fax, text message, or other electronic means and by automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers You have provided us, or by Internet, mail, email, or other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree that You give Leatt Canada permission to collect, use, and disclose Your personal information in accordance with Leatt Canada’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). 11. OTHER
For Québec residents only: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. Leatt Canada’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this Contest.
